The Staff

Linda Fryer

Linda Fryer has over 19 years experience in Waldorf teaching both as a class teacher and an upper school sponsor. She has been a visiting teacher and advisor in Britain, Germany and Sweden for as many years, with twelve years as a teacher trainer.

Linda is a keen puppeteer and has delivered workshops in puppetry in Britain and Japan; she has ten years of alternative youth education experience. She co founded The Stables Project in 2000.

Linda is a fully trained arts award adviser to Bronze, Silver and Gold level.

She is a mother and a grandmother.



Hannah Davies

Hannah has been at the Stables since June 2006. She trained as an actor at Mountview Theatre School and has worked within the theatre industry as an actor, director and producer. Hannah is also a writer and her first play was performed as part of The Royal Court Young Writers Festival in London 2007.

Hannah has taught acting in several drama schools and delivered workshops for many theatre-in-education tours. She is currently studying at York University for her MA in writing and directing for theatre.

Hannah is a fully trained Arts Award adviser to Bronze and Silver level.


Steve joined the Stables team in January 2007. His background is one of visual arts and education. He trained originally in illustration, working in the graphic arts industries until changing, in 1993, to teaching art, and design technology at secondary level.

In 2000 he began working as a freelance community artist and developed his present interests in folk arts, particularly masks and processional sculpture making.

Steve’s role at The Stables is to develop Community Arts and he will run a Carnival Arts Course during 2007/08

Steve is a fully trained arts award adviser to Bronze, Silver and Gold level.
