Linda Fryer
Linda Fryer has over 19 years experience in Waldorf teaching both as a class teacher and an upper school sponsor. She has been a visiting teacher and advisor in Britain, Germany and Sweden for as many years, with twelve years as a teacher trainer. Linda is a keen puppeteer and has delivered workshops in puppetry in Britain and Japan; she has ten years of alternative youth education experience. She co founded The Stables Project in 2000. Linda is a fully trained arts award adviser to Bronze, Silver and Gold level. She is a mother and a grandmother.
Chris Chidlow
Chris has 21 years horticultural experience. He runs an organic garden design and construction business in York. He specialises in creating low maintenance edible gardens for private clients and community organisations. He holds a Diploma in applied permaculture design and runs courses in York and North Yorkshire. He is a personal tutor for the diploma in applied permaculture design. Chris has been the eco-studies co-tutor since 2005.
Milena Dragic
Milena is a fine artist with a great interest in pure maths. She has been running courses with people of all ages and abilities since 1984. She started teaching maths in 1996, and has worked in The Stables Project teaching GCSE maths since 2003.
Jacky Miles
Jacky has a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology with a particular focus on Human Development. Her clinical work and research specialised in children and families and she has taught at Undergraduate level. Jacky’s children brought her into contact with Anthroposophy and she has gained further training through the Early Years Workshops and the Therapy with the Young Child course. Jacky is currently a tutor and administrator working with the Stables Project and is continuing her studies in adolescent development and Upper School teaching based on the work of Rudolf Steiner.
lynda Murphy
Lynda has an M.A. in English Literature, is a published author and also a practitioner of textile design, surface pattern, fabric dyeing and fine art. She is a mother and a keen cook who has supplied produce to a York delicatessen. Currently, Lynda works at the Stables Project where she has taught main study blocks in a number of areas including History, English Literature and Food Science. Alongside her training as an Upper School teacher, she is also in her final year of the NESTT (North of England Steiner Teacher Training) course, giving her a breadth of understanding of Steiner education from 7 to 21 years.
